Track Circuit

AF Track Circuit is a device that detects the presence or absence of a train using a track as a medium. It is a train detection circuit designed for AC or DC rail sections with various types of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

Features

  • Applicable up to 8 types of carrier frequency (A~H)

  • Able to operation in an environment of −40℃ ~ 70℃
  • Upper and below coded modulation frequency Trans & Receive for safety
  • Redundancy system for maximum availability (PM)
  • Composes the tuned zone with resonant tuning units to prevent dead section

Configuration

Specifications

  • Track circuit length: 50 to 1,000 [m] (when using a track amplifier)

  • Maximum control distance: 1,500 [m]
  • Shunting sensitivity: 0.1 ~ 1.7 [Ω]
  • Using Band Pass Filter (BPF) to prevents track relay from malfunctioning due to noise or harmonic waves from the vehicle
  • Protecting device from ground-fault current or lightning through installation of Protector
