To train railway traffic controllers, a simulated control system based on actual operating routes is established, enabling training in an environment similar to real-world operations.
The system replicates the actual control center environment to enhance operators’ early adaptation to the system, and field-oriented control training improves both railway safety and operational efficiency.
1. Full Type Simulation Control System (FTS)
The equipment used for functional training includes an operator console identical to the system used by dispatchers at actual licensing test sites. By integrating with the Centralized Train Control (CTC) system, it enables the development of various alarm-generating systems, allowing for more realistic dispatcher training and assessment. The system also includes a dispatcher evaluation room, a control and command room and a large display panel.
